Luar na Lubre back onto the stage Ortigueira Festival, coinciding with the 25th anniversary of the formation. This was announced this morning the organization of the folk festival, which this year reaches its XXVII edition and will take place from 7 to 10 July . Along the Galician group stage will tread the boards of The Elders Ortega and The Urban Folk Quartet . This is the first international names announced by the organizers of the festival organized by the City Council of Ortigueira.
The legendary group, led by Bieito Romero, visited the World Celtic last time in 2005, the year the release of his current vocalist, the Lisbon Louraço Sara Vidal. Now come full presentation do his new album, Solstice, medieval-inspired and defined as a return to musical roots, after the project Ao Vivo, a live performance in which overhauled their most famous tracks. His performance is scheduled for Saturday, July 9 and will be one of the highlights of the main stage.
The other two bands confirmed their debut at the Celtic Festival. The Elders Americans first set foot in Spain, despite having a long career. Also The British premiere Urban Folk Quartet, winners of the contest I Friends of Folk Plasencia and sweep the big stage at last year.
