And I realize this when, after having heard so much orchestral music, there was never repaired in the composition of Ives, as distinct from the rest, with a tune that plays as curious timbres and harmonies that had not studied, it is an object analysis for a long time.

When looking for links between African musicians reinvented restless endemic artist, with jazz musicians trying to turn our attention to the black continent, as it was before I found this production, a tribute to jazz agupaciones did protest against apartheid, quickly fell into the fold to read the names of some of the names of performers, Evan Parker, Elton Dean, Lol Coxhill and even Keith Tippet. What confirms my theory: Good musicians always know how to surround himself with good musicians.

Carlos Soto, former Celtic and member of the group Awen Magic Land, won the New Building Award Agapito Marazuela Folklore , which failed in Valverde del Majano and has reached its third edition.
The jury highlighted the positive developments are taking this award, created to remember the figure of folklore Agapito Marazuela master, and to promote the new creative teams who base their work on traditional themes. The president of the jury reviewed the musical biography of the winners, and emphasized his "found work" in using the English musical structure with melody and rhythm of the new sounds, which also sees the influence of Celtic roots. Also praised in his creations use the whistle as an instrument Castilian inseparable from the old musicians for their rehearsals and performances, and said that issue the jury's decision has been complicated by the high qualities of candidates.
Carlos Soto, Valladolid birth, served for five years from group 'Almenara' with whom he recorded two albums. In 1984 he formed the group Celtic, who left in 2004. From that year he began work on the project Awen Magic Land. The last paper presented at the prize was named 'Castijazz' with that proposed a musical journey through the world based on traditional rhythms and melodies of English inspiration.

root From traditional to avant-garde sounds, bringing the word, the Portuguese group Xícara exquisitely recreates the music and songs of their land, their own compositions and adaptations of traditional pieces. Xícara is also a tribute to the Portuguese language and its worker-poets such as António Botto , João Penha de Oliveira Fortuna and João Cabral Nascimento .
The band was born in the region of Minho, between Guimarães and Famalicão in 2010 and recently launched their first EP with a series of concerts in FNACs and other sites around the country.

Determined to build by hand, presented different alternatives at the time I asked myself.
The first is to follow tradition and sacrifice a lamb, to be flayed by a procedure to place you in the front legs in one blower and the other pointer, placement on the neck of "braguer" which houses the drones, closing and sealing the hind legs. This would be the traditional method, but tanned skin needs to be obtained and waterproofed with pitch or other substance, the very tanned skin and presents difficulties in having to use toxic salts (eg chromium), residues of which are due to authorized agents.
A second possibility is to purchase pre-tanned skin in a warehouse supply materials for shoe companies, something easily achieved in the area where I live, as in nearby villages, there are plenty of such industries, the skin would form different because in the slaughter, is still another process of skinning, but only need to get the waterproofing.
The third possibility is to build with reinforced plastic sheet and attached with glue, this process is simple, the materials used are cheap, easily available and possibly meet the objectives. I will use the Skay, plastic sheet PVC-based fabric reinforced synthetic fiber, forming a high strength, flexibility and unaffected by moisture, so use on chairs and furniture upholsterers. To attach or paste material that I will use the glue used by plumbers in the drain pipe sealing to PVC, available at most hardware stores. I do not guarantee a good result with this alternative, but you can always return to any of the above.

Un reciente descubrimiento acompaña las tinieblas que me acompañan cuando cierro los ojos. La música de Julia Kent busca la coexistencia sin polémicas entre las posibilidades monumentales de sus instrumentos digitales, mezclados con el sonido artesano de un cello clásico. Sin grandes destrezas, resulta muy sencillo dejar la puerta abierta para que la sugestión de cada composición nos pasee hasta donde queramos. Un trabajo contundente, aunque no descollante, perfecto para una escena incidental.
